Blessings in a Backpack & The Fairfield present...  Fantastical Fort 2026 Just beyond the world you know, something magical awaits... On October 25th, The Fairfield opens its doors to a world unlike anything Fort Wayne has ever seen. Fantastical Fort is a one-of-a-kind, FREE, all-ages community event where local small businesses and nonprofits come together to create an immersive magical experience across four enchanted floors. From whimsical fairy tales and enchanted kingdoms to dark and mysterious realms — wizards, witches, mermaids, vampires, faeries, and magical creatures of every kind are welcome here.   Here's what awaits you inside: Enchanted vendor booths from local small businesses Themed activities from local nonprofits Wizarding worlds & whimsical realms  Arcane & mystic atmospheres Magical food & drinks Four floors of pure wonder & imagination   Whether your magic lives in the pages of a beloved book, the roll of a die, the turn of a card, the wave of a wand, or somewhere in between, Fantastical Fort has a realm for you. Come in costume, come in character, or simply come as you are — just come ready to explore.
